Sandbox

The KineticPay API provides a sandbox environment that allows users to test their integration without making real transactions or affecting live data. Enabling the sandbox mode is a simple process that can be done from the collection page in the dashboard.

To enable the sandbox mode, follow these steps:

1. Login to your KineticPay account
2. Navigate to the collection page in the dashboard.
3. Locate the option to enable the sandbox mode.
4. Toggle the option to enable the sandbox environment.

Once the sandbox mode is enabled, you can proceed with testing your integration. When processing transactions in the sandbox environment, no real payments will be made, and the data will not affect live accounts or records.

To access the sandbox environment, you will be redirected to the sandbox page. This page provides a simulated environment where you can perform transactions and observe the responses without making any changes to the actual API configuration.

It's important to note that in the sandbox environment, all the API endpoints and functionalities remain the same as in the live environment. The only difference is that the transactions are not processed with real money.

Utilizing the sandbox environment allows you to thoroughly test your integration, validate the functionality, and ensure a smooth user experience before going live with the production environment.

Please ensure that you disable the sandbox mode when you are ready to process real transactions in the live environment.
